Our History and Our New Brand
The distributorship named O’Keefe Controls Co was founded in 1975 by Robert O’Keefe who combined his experience from a series of research positions with that from positions at Pitney Bowes and ASCO. As the company grew, so did its reputation — for providing not only quality parts but for ensuring that customers had the correct part needed, and that it would function properly for that application.
Over the years, as technology in industrial automation continued to progress, O’Keefe Controls Co. kept pace with the ever-changing industry, continuing to supply customers with the latest, best products for their needs. And, most importantly, we continued Robert O’Keefe’s legacy of expert Technical Customer Service. Keeping abreast of new innovation and advancements in automated systems, O’Keefe Controls Co.’s Engineers often provide their invaluable expertise in part selection as well as help with part installation and operation, if needed.
By 2017, with new technology moving the fluid control industry steadfastly in the direction of computerized automation, it was decided that a new brand identity was needed. The OKC Automation brand, designed to reflect our current, ever-advancing, high-tech industry, was conceived to convey a distinct message to our customers and to the industry at large.
